He felt the spike of distress in the Force a moment before he heard Obi-Wan’s voice.  “Qui?”

Qui-Gon looked up from the comm-set to see his partner actually standing – or, more accurately, leaning, but upright nonetheless – in the open bedroom doorway.  “You shouldn’t be moving about on your own just yet,” Qui-Gon scolded, deliberately mild, rising and grabbing the portable comm-padd before walking over to him.

The face Obi-Wan made gave lie to every single one of his years of maturity.  Which was actually quite reassuring.

“Shhh.”  It vibrates across Qui-Gon’s skin, dragging a shiver in its wake.  “Wanted this for so long, you don’t know – ” Another kiss on Qui-Gon’s neck just above where Obi-Wan’s clever, clever fingers are coaxing Qui-Gon’s inner tunic away.  “Let me? Please?”
